Are you ever tempted by a simpler, more peaceful lifestyle? I've been feeling so overwhelmed lately that I've been toying with the idea of just up and moving to the country. [Insert banjo.] The grass is always greener, I know, but I could totally see myself running after pigs and a big brood of wild children. Leave it to me to turn twenty-five and experience an instantaneous quarter-life crisis.
And then I read this—from a new favorite—and was smitten. A girl who feels the same and can articulate it perfectly. I sent her post to my cousin, who also echoes my sentiments and replied, "Where did you find that?! I'm printing it out and putting it on my dream board!" Which only makes sense, tacked up next to other inspiring photos and magazine clippings that sing to your soul.
Written by Nashville-based personal chef, Rebekka Seale, Nom de Plume serves up other consistently dream- (and drool-) worthy stories, recipes, and photos. She's a charmer, and quite new to the blogosphere. But like all great food bloggers, she's got a knack for enchanting hand-in-hand food writing, so staying power is not in question. I, for one, love to hear about the celebs she works with, the food she works with, and what in god's name a personal chef actually cooks for themself.
